Leading Connecticut media outlets covered Silver Golub & Teitell's class action lawsuits to protect state residents from PFAS chemicals in the water supply. The Hartford Courant, Connecticut Post, Hartford Business Journal, WSHU Public Radio, News12 Connecticut, Fox61, the Connecticut Law Tribune and Law360 all reported on the lawsuits, which SGT filed against Aquarion Water Company and Connecticut Water Company on October 18.
The lawsuits allege that Connecticut Water and Aquarion knew about the dangers of PFAS chemicals and, instead of removing them from the water supply, chose to pass on contaminated water to their customers, putting the health of hundreds of thousands of people at risk.
Silver Golub & Teitell partner Ian Sloss, counsel John Seredynski and associate Krystyna Gancoss represent the plaintiffs in the lawsuits, which seek class action status to represent residents who receive their water from the two companies.
